Welcome to the Start of Seventeen82 - Kyle E. Sims

Welcome to Seventeen82! Over a year ago, we started working towards a place where we could post articles about our church and world that might be of help to our denomination and beyond. After some technical ups and downs and some logistics, we have a group of folks that will be bringing content to this site several times a week. 

The goal is to start with articles being published on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. These articles should vary widely from issues of the church and faith, culture, ethics, and so on. If you would like to have an article posted, please let us know. This is to be a platform for varying views offered in a helpful and constructive manner. 

Why do we need another blog? The world has changed. Internet articles are commonplace, and almost everyone is reading information online. We see a need for this in our circles, and to give some talented people, we know a joint opportunity to share and have exposure to bless our church. 

Finally, this is not a political organ designed to push the view of one group. Trust me when I tell you the group of folks behind this does not agree on everything and on somethings we have a 

''major difference, but this is why we want this platform so that different views can be given in a thoughtful way. We believe this will make us stronger in the end. We hope you will give us a look while you are surfing the internet. Look for us on various social media.  May God bless you!
